This is our first weekly update on the happenings during the week on our walks with your doggies!! Basically as the tagline says, we’ll be bringing you all the woofs & licks from each day during the week! So let’s get started…..

• Monday 06th February 2012

Today we are joined on walks by Ruben & Boo! Ruben and Boo have been joining each other on walks together over the last few weeks and have been getting on great together!! Ruben is still a puppy and really into everything – so today when we went to Phoenix Park. Boo was great at showing Ruben the ropes of what is acceptable behaviour for a doggie!

We went for a a great walk – it was very cold but both doggies enjoyed their walk up to the duck pond and around the fury glen. They meet some other doggies out walking too – a King Charles who was rather shocked at Rubens sudden approach & a couple of lovely labradors!!!

Both doggies were out for the count in the car on the way home!

• Tuesday 07th February 2012

Today we had four walkies, the first with Mr. Beasley & Charlie (poo), then Nala, Polo and finally Chalrie (Wee)!!! Bit of a chilly start this morning with the boys but it brightened up in the afternoon!!! Mr. Beasley & Charlie have become great friends over the last three weeks! Charlie has been settling in well to the group & has really bonded with Beasley. Both guys are very independant on walks and love to do their own things – tho they both have an eye to see where the other has gone!! Beasley has to lead the way – great walk today in Dartry Park!

I then went on to pick up Nala and we went for her walk – just the two of us. Nala has been in heat recently so i’ve been walking her just with Boo – but no Boo today – so she had me all to herself!!! She loves exploring everywhere & having a good bound around!!

A bit later out to Polo today….and it was up to Santry Park for Polo’s walks! I find Polo to be quite tired on Tuesdays when we head for walks – but she usually perks up once we get to the park & she meets some of her friends!! The park was a bit quite today – so we had it all to us for a while! Polo tried to tie me to a tree as you can see in our facebook photos!! She just loves running up and down here in the long (ish) grass!!! Though i do try and keep her out of the muck – it just wouldnt be fair to send her home dirty!!! Though she does love getting down into the dirt!

Then my last walk of the day was Charlie (Wee)!!! And we we’re off to Phoenix Park!!! Charlie was a bit under the weather last week but he is back on top form today!!!

He loves just being nosey!! Saying hello to other dogs, birds, trees, grass, twigs etc. Charlie just has to sniff & say hello to everything!!! Today we meet a few other doggies & we went to visit the ducks!!! It turned out ato be a gorgeous spring evening – considering the day started out so cold! Charlie had a great walk & loved meeting the ducks – if he was a little scared of them – ironic – considering he’s a hunting dog by breed! =) We love Charlie!! He’s a sweetie!

• Wednesday 08th February 2012

We had walks today with Polo, Boo, Nala & Ruben!! Nala & Ruben haven’t been out together in a while, so i decided to team them up today!!

So first off we had Polo & Boo on there separate walks in Santry Park – today there seemed to be a school sports day on – loads of kids about – not that many dog walkers!!! Both the girls enjoyed their walks – neither of them were too bothered by all the fuss – though Polo was very upset that she couldnt get to walk her usual route!!

After Polo & Boo we had little Nala & Ruben for walks! We went to Phoenix Park – very quiet there today – though Ruben was full of energy – as can been seen from our little home video!!! Loads of play with Nala!! Both of them really enjoyed it and we did get some good walk time in there too!!! Ruben used to get really excited around Nala – hence why they haven’t been walking together for awhile; she’s also been in heat – but today they really enjoyed each others company!

That’s it for today – all doggies walked & home exhausted!! =0)

• Thursday 09th February 2012

Last day of the week for us this week – as we are off up to Donegal to look after my father for the weekend – as my mum and sisters are off on my sisters hen party!! Time flies – it will soon be her wedding!!! Anywho…today we started with the shy & retiring Mr. Beasley – yeah right! and Charlie the cockapoo!! These guys really are getting on well together lately!!! We went for our walk in Dartry Park – the guys meet a lovely Black Russian Terrier puppy – such a gorgoeus breed!!!

After the guys walked we went on to Polo – who was waiting anxiously for me!!! We got straight to it and headed to Santry Park for her walkie!! Polo had a great walk today – as you can see in our video on facebook!!! She really enjoys sprinting around on her walk & meeting everyone!!! She’s really very friendly!!

Nala & Ruben were next for their walk – our last walk of this week! Both of them had a fantastic time today in the local park – they meet a lovely greyhound called Roxy – i think that was her name – Ruben & Roxy had a great time running around – Nala didnt know what to make of her but still got stuck in for playtime!!!

A great end to week!!! Hope you all have a great weekend – i won’t be aorund tomorrow but i’ll see you all & your doggies next week – when we’ll be saying hello to a new little guy called Higgins! =)
